Dear Members Notice is hereby given that the Eighty-third Annual General Meeting of the Zeekoe Vlei Yacht Club will be held in the Clubhouse at Zeekoe Vlei on May 14, 2015 at 19h00. Agenda To confirm the minutes of the eighty-second Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, 29 May 2014 (posted on Club’s notice board) To submit and if approved, adopt the audited accounts (currently at the Auditors) for the year ending 28 February 2015. To submit and if approved, adopt the Annual Reports for the season ending 14 May 2015. To consider and if approved by a two-thirds majority, increase the subscriptions. To elect a President, Vice-President, Patron-in-Chief and Patrons as well as Honorary Life members, if any. To elect Flag Officers, Chairmen of Sub-Committees, additional members of the General Committee. Presentation of the H.A. van Hoogstraten trophy for dedicated and outstanding service to the club. Dear Sailors and Friends, THIS WEEKEND JUNIOR TRAINING This is the last day of training for Optimist and Novice Juniors this season. Sunday, 19th April, from 10h00. There will be a picnic sail late morning for the Novices followed by prize giving at the Club from 13h00. Parents, please pack a small picnic for your children, or purchase snacks from the tuckshop. Laser Training will be held at FBYC, weather conditions permitting. There is no Dabchick training this Sunday. ROCHELLE’S KITCHEN The Tuckshop will be open this Sunday from 9am for tea/coffee and light breakfasts and the kitchen will be open for lunch from noon.
