The “Bone of Contention” triathlon yesterday was full of energy, sweat and laughter! So wonderful to have so many entries and our sailors and rowers competing alongside! Congratulations to Rick Nankin for winning the adult leg and the juniors was won by Team Scarbarians; Eva, Frith and Maya.

The Alfred’s sprint regatta was a huge success last Saturday with 500 m sprints in home bay. It was well attended by Alfred’s, Grassy Park Rowing and many more followed by Pimm’s and a braai at the BBB Room.

WC Sonnet Champs – Saldanha YC, 27th to 29th April 2018
SA Sailing is extending an opportunity for persons interested in developing and who would like to assist the sport of Sailing, in the area of performancedevelopment as a SA Sailing Race Coach.
SASCOC has afforded the opportunity to have World Sailing come out to run a TCC3 – Level 3 Performance coach course, at Garden Route Sailing Academy in Mossel Bay from 11th – 15thApril 2018. The clinic is structured around the soft skills of performance coaching , across all sailing disciplines. The program is aimed at persons who have advance racing experience at a nationals level or higher and who have an aptitude and interest to give back to the sport of sailing by helping to advance ability and performance results within sailing all levels of racing in the country (i.e. from club racing level upwards and for any age or ability).

There is limited space available, and anyone interested in attending should complete the attached registration documentation and attach in a short sailing and/or coaching CV, for consideration by no later than the 25thMarch 2018 to firstname.lastname@example.org .
