A Great letter from Patrick Jackson:

Hi Fellow Sailors
Just felt I had to share some sailing experiences I have had the last few weeks.
Not the Main Regattas which have been GREAT but the “in between” sailing.
Few TAKERS but so what ?  2 Boats and you have a DICE ! The weather has been great and the wind perfect..
Last Sunday was awesome champagne sailing.  Blue skies, warm sun and a breeze which started gently,
mounting to a rip roaring glorious plowing 20 knots.  Not survival just perfect fast ‘planing’ stuff.  Those REACHES –  Awesome !!
We sailed 2 full round-the-vlei South courses in the morning had a great lunch at the Club’s Galley and another race in the afternoon with minimum quantity (boats) maximum quality !
Folks, it’s entirely up to you, but those of you who are not on the water DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING !
See you afloat
Patrick

International Outgoing Rugby Tour: Ireland vs South Africa, Saturday 8th November at 19h30
