ILCA Training at ZVYC
Every sailor starts somewhere — and for many, the real adventure begins when they step into an ILCA. At Zeekoevlei Yacht Club (ZVYC), our ILCA Training programme is designed to help young sailors build confidence, refine their skills, and experience the joy of sailing at a whole new level.
When and Where
Training runs on Sunday mornings from 09:00 to 14:00, starting 7 September. The programme continues on:
* September: 7, 21
* October: 19, 26
* November: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
What to Expect
These sessions go beyond the basics. With guidance from our experienced coaches, sailors will learn to handle their boats with precision, adapt to different wind and water conditions, and begin to understand the strategies behind racing. Each week is an opportunity to grow more confident, more independent — and to have plenty of fun along the way.
Cost
Members:R900
Non-members: R1400
This training offers a solid foundation for anyone eager to progress in the sport, supported by skilled coaching and the vibrant ZVYC community.
