World Masters Games held at Lake Karapiro in New Zealand – represented by Brian Christie and Mike Scott Alfred Rowing Club
“We entered the Mens G category double sculls, and we combined with John Ingram and Digby Hoets of Viking Rowing Club in Johannesburg to row the Mens G quadruple sculls. I also combined with Helen McFie-Simone to row in the H category mixed double sculls.
While Mike and I were unsuccessful in the double sculls, We managed a silver medal in the quadruple sculls event, and Helen and I won a bronze in the mixed double sculls. Quite a satisfactory achievement.”
