Dear Members and Friends,

We had a great Friday evening TGIF and the Rivertones reggae band had us all dancing to many of the golden oldies! With over 60 people, we thank the active water sport members, not more than 15, who made the special effort of attending and our Vleibours for their support. We also thank Mark Thompson for his kind contribution of 3 bottles of Captain Morgan rum which was enjoyed by all who were present!
This is our last newsletter for 2016 and we wish you all a happy festive season and safe travels. We had a bumper year and are looking forward to an even better 2017!

Yesterday, the club was alive with an international film production crew filming in front of the club house and off the jetty for a car commercial with their attendant safety crew. The shoot wrapped up after 21h00.

THIS WEEKEND

There is no organized sailing on Sunday. The club staff will not be here, but the manager will be in attendance from 09h00 to 14h00, tuck shop is open for light meals.

December 16th, Friday: Club house closed. Public Holiday
December 17th, Saturday: Club house hired for a wedding starting at 14h00 using the East Lawn for their ceremony
December 20th, Tuesday: Club house hired for a members private function, all day
December 24th to January 9th: Club house closed for the festive season, members access through the gate, please make sure your mobile number is on our system
January 15th, Sunday: Junior training registration 09h30
