Dear Sailors, Rowers and Friends,

Upper Deck open this evening from 17h00 – Bring your buddies for Thirsty Thursday! No organised sailing tonight. See the live weather HERE.


Junior Training (Optimist & Dabchick), Summer Series Rnd 3 at 10h30,and the special Sunday Afternoon Racing has been scheduled (by sailors vote) for 14h00.

Rochelle’s Kitchen will be open from 12h30 at the Galley! Tuckshop open from 09h00. Afternoon Sailors, be sure to book your hunger buster at lunch time for after the racing.

For those of you who have not been to the club recently, we highly recommend Rochelle’s Kitchen. The prices are reasonable, the helpings are generous and the queue’s are short. It is really an opportunity to come to the club, meet your friends and watch activities; not forgetting the G&T’s at lunch time. This weeks menu as follows:

Fresh Grilled Hake with Roast Summer Veggies
Chicken Satay with Crunchy Courgette Ribbons
Spaghetti with Meatballs & Italian Tomato Sauce
Sweets & Coffee to follow

We are having Cafe Pronto (tbc) serving coffee in the morning and tuck shop open for early bacon & egg rolls from 08h00.

For those that enter online with the club ( ), by 17h00 on Friday 25th November 2016, will earn and extra free drink voucher.

Using the usual Vlei marks, the last race of the morning session and afternoon session, although starting on Committee Boat on the Vlei, will finish at the clubhouse.
Four races 1 discard.




Abandoned Boats
This is a reminder for you to place your bids before Thursday 24th November. The committee will open the bids on Friday 25th November and notify the bidder.
A list of the boats is on the Notice Board in the clubhouse.
