OTHER NEWS
Cullen Keytel – Laser 4.7 National Champion 2016
Cullen has written an article on his sailing experience from Optimist to Laser 4.7 and is now our National Champion! Well done Cullen on your achievement as well as a wonderful inspiring article! Read it HERE.
Chest Freezer
We are needing a double or two single Chest Freezer’s for the club (thank you Nicki Stock for the previous freezer). Members, please donate your old one if you have no more use for it! Any pots and pans for the kitchen are welcome too!
Membership
John (our Saturday Clubhouse helper) has started phoning around to chase outstanding subs. Subs were payable by the date of the opening cruise, or that membership category would be considered a defaulter. Defaulting is obviously not an option we would like to pursue so please make arrangements to settle your outstanding subs. The payment plan option is still in operation, please contact the office.
Worcester Yacht Club Request
Dear Club Member, I am on the Worcester Yacht Club committee with ‘Sailing’ as my portfolio, and it is my mission to renew interest and encourage more Sailing at our club. We desperately are in need of any sailing vessels to use for training purposes. Topaz, Hobies etc, old and new – I’m more than happy to do repairs if needed. If you know of anyone who would be willing to donate such a craft to our club, please would you contact me urgently.
Thank you and kind regards

Abandoned Boats
If any of these are your boats, PLEASE come and claim it now before we dispose of them. We have been advertising these boats numerous times and they have not been claimed. Notices were posted on the club notice board as well as in newsletters and on our website. This is the final call to members to come an identify your boats!
Best Wishes,
on behalf of ZVYC,
