ZVYC News 23 January 2015

Dear Sailors and Friends,

The ZVYC Open Day and Dinghy Boat Show
It was a great day at the club last weekend, with many interesting boats on display and many members there for the ambience of the Club and catching up of all the sailing activities of the last 6 weeks. In fact it was such a beautiful day that even at 17h00 we still had members there enjoying the perfect conditions and the “jamming session” that had developed from the live music laid on.
The Junior Training has drawn new recruits, and training will carry on, on Sunday.

This year we are also offering training by experienced coaches in Lasers and Dabchicks

The  Gate again

We are currently experiencing gate problems the technicians are working on it. So if your finger or mobile is not working, jump out of your car as it may be on manual. But please remember to close it again straight away. Many thanks.

One of the benefits of being a member of ZVYC is reciprocity. We enjoy reciprocity with Knysna Yacht Club, which means to all our members who were on holiday in the Southern Cape, you could have gone to KYC and have enjoyed full membership status. For this, all you must do is show your ZVYC membership card.

A list of all the Clubs we enjoy reciprocity through out the World is on the Club’s website.
See you all down at the Club next weekend!

Best wishes,
on behalf of ZVYC,
Anna, Kathryn & Ron
