Congratulations to Philip Eltringham on his engagement to Gina Gibson at the top mark of the Admirals Regatta! We wish you many years of happiness and sailing!
And, well done to Phil and Gina (Sonnet) 1st overall in the Dinghy’s followed by Morgan Evans (Finn) 2nd and Constantin Hatzilambros (Finn) 3rd!
Southern Charter Interschools at IYC
From all reports we have heard, it was a very successful event wtih strong winds on Saturday and light winds on Sunday. Well done all our members who took part. The overall results are:

The FINN class is frantically looking for anyone that can assist with trailers and/or taking Finn’s on a trailer to Mossel Bay and back for the Easter weekend to sail in the Western Cape Provincials.

BirdLife South Africa, the Cape Bird Club and the City of Cape Town will be hosting the fifth annual False Bay Nature Reserve Birdathon: Fun Walk and Festival on the 6th May 2017 at the False Bay Nature Reserve.

Lipton Cup, 18 – 25 August 2017
The club is desirous of challenging this years Lipton Cup in August and wish to inquire whether there are members that are prepared to put a campaign together. The closing date for applications must be no later than the AGM on the 18th May 2017.
