OTHER NEWS

Interclub Regatta at Knysna
A brief report from Craig Leslie (Vice Commodore) about the Interclub Regatta where ZVYC was very pleased to enter a team of Laser Radials and some other senior classes. We hope next year to have a full team to be able and bring the trophy back to Cape Town. Open Fleet results Knysna Interclub Open Results.
“This is a great regatta to attend as it offers sailing in current conditions which we seldom encounter. The Knysna club house facilities are fantastic and so is the welcome. We did well considering we needed to have at least 5 sailors competing in each class to get  a good score for the Interclub trophy, which went to Redhouse this year. There was  a good turnout with over 20 lasers and over 70 entries in total.”

Zeekoevlei Sailing Centre had a successful training camp at ZVYC last weekend when the MAC 24 was cancelled at short notice.

Best Wishes,
on behalf of ZVYC,
Kathryn & Ron
